Trying to lose some weight? I am too. I have steadily gained weight since 2011, the year that I met my first boyfriend (who is now my husband, yihee! ^_^). I love him dearly but it was just bad how his unhealthy eating habits rubbed into me instead of my healthy eating habits rubbing into him. If only I could turn back time. I should have kept my eating guard up. Oh well, I still enjoyed every bit of our eating sprees. After all, lovers that gain weight together stay together =p. It also doesn’t help that I have PCO (Polycystic Ovary), which renders my metabolism slow and my hormones a little crazy. In any case, I do not have any excuse not to be fit and healthier. I need to be. I choose to be. I am more inclined to be obese and diabetic so I must be more conscious of what I eat and my physical activity (I do yoga at home and I love it!). Yes, I definitely indulge on delicious food, especially desserts but I am always trying to balance it out with healthier choices most days and portion control. I still have a lot to fulfill on my buckEAT list and I am determined to complete it in this lifetime!
So far, I have lost about five pounds in two weeks. I believe that this 175-calorie drink is a vital part of that achievement and so I am sharing it with all of you. You can substitute this for one meal or pair it with with one hard-boiled egg if you’re still feeling hungry. It is best to prepare your weekly requirement in one go and just keep it in the refrigerator. This is best served chilled ^_^.
